Okay, it's no secret that Justin Bieber, Taylor Swift and Company are really hit wonders. And let's face the fact that other pop acts such as Lady Gaga, Rebecca Black, Taylor Swift and Selena Gomez are making waves too. I have nothing against the music nowadays, but I just find pop genre today as something autotuned with meaningless message.

Remember Friday? The massive popular pop song popularized by Rebecca Black. The tune itself was a terrible one. How about the song Baby? The popular song was performed by Justin Bieber. Oh well, just a weird way of taking a break from writing an essay, eh?

Lady Gaga's sudden popularity in the mainstream world is also disturbing for me. Her wardrobe choice and thought-provocative songs like Pokerface and Alejandro are not a good example for the youth. I mean there's nothing wrong about expressing yourself, but too much of it is not a good example.

To sum things up, music today talks about: young love, party, expressing yourself and just pure trash. This blog entry might be showing some tough love to them. But I despise their popularity in the music industry.
